JLG Industries, Inc - Orrville, OH

JLG Industries, Inc in Orrville, OH had a diesel fuel leak. During excavation to repair the leak, they broke a buried electrical line. Before continuing the excavation, they called GPRS, Inc. in order to locate any underground utilities coming through the area.

Jamie Althauser, of the GPRS Akron, OH office, was able to be there the next day to scan the area using ground penetrating radar and an RD-4000 utility locator. GPRS, Inc. was able to locate all utilities in the area and was able to locate another buried electrical line near the area where further excavation was to take place. All utilities were painted and flagged on the ground and their locations and depths shown in a drawing.

Underground Utility Detection is a standard gpr service that our company provides. Jamie Althauser is the Director of operations in the northeast Ohio area. He can be reached at (330)352-1045 or by e-mail at jamie.althauser@gp-radar.com.
