Wal-mart Superstores – (Utility Scan) - In August of 2009, Apex Geoscience of Conroe, Texas, needed to verify the location of underground utilities located at several Wal-mart stores in the Houston area. They contacted Chad Fischer of GPRS’ Houston regional office to ask about identifying the location and depth of power and refrigerant lines in the frozen food area, through the use of Ground Penetrating Radar technology. They did not know exactly where the lines were, or their depth, but through the use of Ground Penetrating Radar we were able to identify all power and refrigerant lines. One GPRS technician was able to perform the work on a timely basis for Apex Geoscience.
