Ground Penetrating Radar Systems preformed a survey at New York’s Staten Island University Hospital

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems preformed a survey at New York’s Staten Island University Hospital. They chose to utilize GPR over xray because the survey could be preformed during normal working hours. Bryan Vickers was on site at the hospital and scanned several areas where the slab needed to be cored and saw cut. During the survey He was able to clearly mark out the rebar and conduits in the slab prior to any cuts or penetrations. Take a look at the pictures after the slab had been cut away. As you can see all the conduits were marked with red paint on the surface and they line exactly up with the conduits that were within the slab.
