Mitch Ross of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems uses Ground Penetrating Radar to locate conduits embedded in concrete at an office building in Charlotte, North Carolina.

GPR can determine if conduits or reinforcing steel lie in the path of a saw cut or core drill without any radiation or drilling.

GPRS marks the locations of embedded items in the concrete directly on the surface as the scanning is performed. There is no need to develop the picture and use a reference point, this leads to greater accuracy.

Mitch Ross runs GPRS operations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
He is based in Charlotte, NC and he can be reached at (704)501-7089 or by email at mitch.ross@gp-radar.com. Scanning for the purpose of locating conduits in and under concrete is a frequent service performed by technicians at GPRS.
