When a contractor needed to anchor into the side of a post-tensioned beam in Erie, PA, they called GPRS, Inc. to locate the reinforcing. GPRS used ground penetrating radar to precisely locate all reinforcing including vertical rebar stirrups and the post tensioned cables running through the beams. The results were marked directly onto the surface with depths so that the steel plate could be positioned so as not to interfere with any reinforcing.
