Brickyard Tower Project 17 Post Tension
Cables Missed in Salt Lake City, Utah

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake CityIn this current economy, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City frequently hears that in order to save on expenses contractors are coring through concrete slabs without using GPR first. GPRS was called out to scan a Post Tensioned slab to verify that no tendons passed through the areas that were laid out before coring took place. For a relatively small cost GPRS was able to scan approximately 24 coring locations and marked out 17 locations that would have resulted in penetrating directly through a PT-Cable.  These results prove the need for and effectiveness of Ground Penetrating Radar Technology.
