In
February 2008 the Virginia/DC GPRS office had the opportunity to work at Arlington National
Cemetery. AMT Engineering of Rockville, MD hired our
company to provide Ground
Penetrating Radar services for underground
utility locating at the cemetery. A new building is
being proposed and AMT decided to use GPR to confirm the presence of known utilities and to determine the presence of any unknown utilities or buried structures in the vicinity. The job was typical
in nature for our company; however the opportunity to
work at a National Landmark was very exciting.

Providing GPR services for underground utility locating is a common
service performed by the technicians at GPRS.
We often perform this work prior to excavation or in
the planning stages of a new construction project.
