Arcadis UST

The Akron, OH office of Arcadis, US had a project where they needed to determine the location of abandoned Underground Storage Tanks (UST’s) in Kent, OH. The property had a record of once having had UST’s on site, but it was not known where they were located. The objective of the GPR survey was to determine if the tanks were still on site and to give their exact location so they could be removed in order for a bridge to be constructed on the site.

The project was a success as Jamie Althauser of GPRS was easily able to identify the location of Underground Storage Tanks and he was able to determine their approximate size and depth.

Jamie Althauser is the Regional Director of operations in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania for GPRS. He can be reached in Akron, OH at (330) 352-0145 and in Pittsburgh, PA at (412) 392-2266 or by e-mail at jamie.althauser@gp-radar.com.
